On March 18, Canadian country artist, Karli June dropped her music video for “Big for a Small Town.” This video follows the February release of her debut EP Where You Come From and for “Big for a Small Town” which has rocketed across key editorial playlists on Spotify and Amazon Music. The EP has amassed over a quarter of a million streams across all DSPs to date.
The single is one that anyone living in a small town can relate to and was written by Karli June and produced by Karen Kosowski (Meghan Patrick, The Washboard Union, Tim Hicks, Mickey Guyton).
“Big for a Small Town,” an irresistible and energetic song, is an acoustic video filmed in black and white. The track was recorded live off the floor at Revolution Recording Studio in Toronto and filmed by Tour Bus Entertainment.
Says Karli June,
“Big For a Small Town” is a song I am so proud of and one I wrote on my own. It is a celebration of what living life is like in a small town. From running into everyone you know at the grocery store, to packing a hockey arena on a Friday night, this song paints the picture of the life that every small towner knows and loves.”

Hi all. I’m Nanci Dagg. I am from Winnipeg, Manitoba, and have lived my entire life here. There is nothing I like better than supporting local artists followed by supporting Canadian artists. Although I was a classic rock gal, my go to genre is country. Something about this music that just makes me feel great. I can be found at most country music concerts and shows (from someone’s house to really large venues) taking lots of pictures. Music and photography are two of my passions. Add to this mix, writing about artists, well let’s say, life doesn’t get better than this.
