Montreal’s Léonie Gray has unveiled her new single, “Monsters and Echoes”.
“I wrote Monsters and Echoes after a nightmare I had the day before, in which monsters took over employees in an office and then tried to kill me;” says Léonie. “It inspired me to talk about the distress I experienced working for an employer who did not value me. The lyrics are a literal description of my nightmare.”
“Monsters and Echoes” will be featured on Gray’s debut full-length album, set for release on April 29, 2022.
