Originally from Smith Falls, Canada, and now living in Nashville, emerging country singer-songwriter Amanda Jordan recently announced that she will kick off 2022 with a performance on the 26th season of ABC’s The Bachelor. The episode, scheduled to air on Monday, January 10, at 8:00 p.m. EST features a special performance of “I Choose You” for the newest Bachelor, Clayton Echard, and one lucky bachelorette.
“I Choose You” is independently released and available on all digital platforms now. This track was written by Ruthie Collins and Natalie Stovall and produced by Scott Cooke and David Cohen. It’s a ballad that is the ultimate love song, expressing a palpable realness and vulnerability that is often difficult to put into words.
Jordan shares this about her heartfelt song,
“This song holds a special place in my heart. When I first heard “I Choose You,” I was going through the most-difficult breakup I’ve ever experienced. I was trying to convince myself it was for the best but couldn’t seem to move on. Listening to “I Choose You.” I had this moment of, ‘it’s him and there’s no one else I can spend my life with.’ It said everything I couldn’t put into words. Sometimes you have to fall apart to realize you should be together and since then we’ve chosen each other every day. I truly believe I have this song to thank for that.”
