Mad Ones release video for “Breakdown” in tribute to late drummer Adam Balsam

Toronto, ON-based band, Mad Ones have just released their fourth full-length album, Last Forever via Fortune Stellar Records.

Sadly, Last Forever also stands as a tribute to drummer Adam Balsam — also a member of The Wilderness Of Manitoba and Most Serene Republic — who passed away on Oct. 27, 2021.

The band has shared a video for their newest single from the album, “Breakdown”, which follows previous singles, “Run On You”, “Monday Morning”, and “Kecskemét”.

The video for “Breakdown” captures one of Adam Balsam’s final recorded performances.

Andrew DeVillers (vocals/guitar) shares,

“‘Breakdown’ is a poem for time and distance and whether or not peace and prosperity are possible amidst chaos. It is a meditation on our proximity to circumstances and our enduring love for those who contribute something powerful in our lives. ‘Breakdown’ was also one of our dearly departed bandmate Adam Balsam’s favourite Mad Ones songs.”
