Earlier today, Les Francos de Montréal, presented by Bell in collaboration with Loto-Québec and its public partners, unveiled the complete program for their 2021 edition! From September 9 to 12, more than twenty francophone artists will perform on the two large outdoor stages of the Place des Festivals (Bell stage) and the Parterre Symphonique (Loto-Québec stage). Festival-goers will be able to experience exciting moments during this long weekend of free music!
The must-see artists of the francophone scene and up-and-coming artists will be performing their compositions on the two large outdoor stages of the Francos, some even for the first time in a live version since the confinement. Here are the artists who will be part of this 32nd edition:
On Thursday, September 9, Klô Pelgag, Alaclair Ensemble, Laurence-Anne, Vendou, Lumière and Élage Diouf will kick off the festivities. On Friday, September 10, it’s the turn of Coeur de pirate, Bleu Jeans Bleu, Jérôme 50, P’tit Belliveau, Nikamu Mamuitun, and Robert Robert to take over and give life to their latest releases. On Saturday, September 11, a hip-hop night with Koriass & FouKi, LaF, Sarahmée, Laurence Nerbonne, as well as the Radio-Canada 2020-2021 Rap Revelations, Calamine and Raccoon. Finally, the Francos close their 32nd edition on Sunday, September 12 with Marie-Mai, Clay and Friends, Le Couleur, Andréanne A. Malette, Amay Laoni and l’École nationale de la chanson.
From Thursday to Saturday, each day will end at L’Astral as part of the “Fin de soirée” series presented by SiriusXM, where the public will be treated to free and exclusive performances by Lary Kidd and guests, Tizzo, Soft and White Migz, as well as a double bill with White-B and Connaisseur Ticaso.
For the very first time, the outdoor shows will be webcast live from the Place des Festivals and the Parterre Symphonique. Spectators will enjoy a unique experience, in tune with these performances, during an ephemeral broadcast without rebroadcasting, to be enjoyed in real-time! It’s time to celebrate the moment with exclusive performances, surprise guests, and unforgettable moments that will keep you warm long after the last one. To watch on the Francos YouTube channel: youtube.com/francosmtl.
This year, festival-goers will have to reserve their tickets online for free in order to have access to the outdoor stages. This new measure will allow for the safe running of the events, in accordance with the sanitary instructions currently in effect. As announced by the government, the vaccination passport will be required as of September 1st for access to shows. Reserve your free tickets starting August 25 at 10 a.m. on www.francosmontreal.com.
