Who: AHI, Grae, My Son The Hurricane, The Barr Brothers
When: August 22, 2021
Where: Elora Centre For The Arts, Elora ON
Day three and the last day of a one-of-a-kind mini-fest put on by the wonderful Riverfest Elora team. Back where Riverfest began, in front of an intimate crowd in the yard at the Elora Centre For The Arts adhering to present COVID-19 protocols.
Singer-songwriter AHI drove up from Brampton ON and kicked off day 3 of the festival.
Toronto-based artist Grae, who is actually from Elora, and band, started to pick up the musical pace.
They were followed by Niagara’s My Son The Hurricane who exploded onto the stage (all 11 of them) as they have done before at Riverfest and got the crowd energized and on their feet.
The last set went to Montreal’s indie-folk band The Barr Brothers who closed the festival with their harp-infused indie sound.
Although somewhat shorter than other Riverfest festivals the event was and felt like an authentic festival that was so incredibly welcomed by all in attendance. Can’t wait for the 2022 lineup! Well done Riverfest!!
