Who: Middlebrook, Royal Castles, Crown Lands, The Trews
When: August 21, 2021
Where: Elora Centre For The Arts, Elora ON
Day two of a one-of-a-kind mini-fest put on by the wonderful Riverfest Elora team. Back where Riverfest began, in front of an intimate crowd in the yard at the Elora Centre For The Arts adhering to present COVID-19 protocols.
Local band and Riverfest alumni Middlebrook chased away the rain and brought on the clear skies that remained throughout the evening.
Guelph band Royal Castles, also a Riverfest favourite, performed their high energy set next.
Oshawa Ontario duo Crown Lands showcased the sound that won them the Juno award for Breakout Group.
Lastly, Antigonish’s native sons The Trews closed the evening with a rockin’ set.
The event continues over the weekend.

Live music photography allows me to combine two great passions. As a life long music fan and off and on photographer this a great match. From shooting small dark shows that leave me cursing the lack of light but energize me with their intensity, to large venues where larger than life productions entertain and amaze I am a fan of them all. I love living in the small town of Elora and continue to be amazed at the great calibre of musicians that come through this part of Ontario. Hoping to share some of this musical talent through my photography.
