PREMIERE – Bryce Thomas releases video for “Perpetual Motion Machines”

Veteran Toronto, ON-based singer-songwriter Bryce Thomas is set to release his new album, Across The Neuro Seas on March 26, 2021. In advance of the release, he has teamed up with us, at Canadian Beats to unveil a video for the first single, “Perpetual Motion Machines”.

Bryce recorded virtually all of Across The Neuro Seas by himself at his Toronto home studio during the 2020 lockdown. It is his first new music in five years, a hiatus he took in order to raise his growing family. “Perpetual Motion Machines” is a reflection of that period, when children begin to discover the world on their own.

Bryce shares,

“‘Perpetual Motion Machines’ is probably my favourite song on the album because it’s the most autobiographical. Plus, it’s in waltz time, which I always think gives songs a special energy. And I scored the trumpet part for it, which allowed me to brush off my brass skills.”
