Don Amero releases his newest single “You Can’t Always Be 21” and he believes that it “came at exactly the right time” in his life

Winnipeg’s Don Amero, a three-time JUNO Award nominee, and multiple MCMA award winner, is so excited about the release of “You Can’t Always Be 21” to Canadian country radio and all digital platforms. It’s a follow-up to his singles “I Hate That Song” and the upbeat toe-tapper “Wasn’t The Dress” that went Top 50 at Canadian country radio.

Gordie Sampson, Simon Wilcox, Tawgs, and Charles Kelley (Lady A) {Charles Kelly contacted Amero this week to wish him well and said he personally will give him a shout out when the single is released – AWESOME RIGHT!} composed this relatable, reminiscent and refreshing tune that instantly created a great vibe with Amero and gave him the conviction to recording it. It’s three and half minutes of pure enjoyment and with Amero’s “velvety vocals” it’s a tune that can be listened to over and over again! And, something you may not know, but give a good listen: Amero’s label mate, the ever-fabulous Jess Moskaluke, is singing background!

Amero says this about “You Can’t Always Be 21,”

“To me, this song is about a second coming of age. I hit 40 last year and really feel like I hit a new stride in who I am and where I belong.”

Amero believes this song came at exactly the right time.

“I guess it’s the opposite of a midlife crisis and more like getting my sh*t together!”

… “when you’re young, you think you’ll be young forever” so “have your day in the sun” then “get your shit together!”

Don Amero is THE BEST EVER!
