Newfoundland folk duo, Quote The Raven, have released a brand new single “Home is Worth The Blues”. Co-written by Jordan Coaker and Kirsten Rodden-Clarke (QTR) and Blake Reid, the song dedicated to those who are working to live and is meant to remind listeners who are working day in and day out that, at the end of the day, they get to go home to their loved ones and to remember what they’re working for.
“Written in a slaughterhouse in Calgary, the single was inspired by the environment, the stories told and the history within the building,” said Jordan Coaker and Kirsten Rodden-Clarke. “We want this song to resonate with those who are always working tirelessly to make ends meet and to know their voices are heard.”
The official live performance video will be released on March 5th.

I’m Tara and I’m a graphic designer from Newfoundland. I am very fortunate to live in a city where there is a ton of amazing musicians. I’ve grown very fond of the local music scene in St. John’s and some of my favorite bands are ones I’ve met through going to local shows.
