Care to introduce yourself to our readers?

My name is Brandon Lorenzo I’m a 23-year-old country singer/songwriter from Airdrie Alberta!  Tell us a bit about your music and writing style.

My Music has a 90’s inspired feel with a new modern twist. When I write music, I try to incorporate the sound of steel guitar and fiddle for that old school Country Twang, you can hear that in the music that I release!

How have you been keeping creative during the Pandemic?

I’ve been extremely busy during this pandemic, despite the circumstances. I feel very bless and fortunate to have been able to perform several gigs around my hometown area of Airdrie, as well as other locations throughout Alberta. I also had the pleasure to go to Rosetown and Biggar Saskatchewan. Now those folks know how to entertain! LOL

In Oct I was given the opportunity to be the opening act for the Country Legends Tribute Show for Hotels Live, put on by Live Star Entertainment. During Covid, I feel that I have grown and developed in ways that I could not have imagined. It hasn’t really slowed me down. I just keep looking for and creating opportunities to grow and develop myself.

If you were asked to suggest only one of your songs for someone to hear, which would it be?

If I could only choose one song, I would say “Kissin’ In The Kitchen”! It’s a fun upbeat tune that I think everybody needs to hear. It’s a song that encompasses relationships of all different stages in life. I feel that is extremely relevant right now with COVID-19 sweeping the world and everybody being stuck at home. Whether you are with your significant other, your child, or your fur baby, everyone should have some fun and be “Kissin’ In The Kitchen”.

Canadian Beats is all about Canadian music, so who are your current favourite Canadian bands/artists?

Some of my favorite Canadian artists at this point include Paul Brandt, Aaron Goodvin, Brett Kissel, and so many more amazing names! So much great talent in this country, that I’m happy to be a part of!
