What’s going on everybody, it’s another music Monday and we’ve got new music to cover. This is the Weekly Beat Down, where you the fans will be voting for your favourite song this week. Two songs will Face-Off head-to-head and only one will make it to the hall of fame after six weeks. Also, there’s some weird intro in this week’s episode so let’s check it out!
Returning artists from the last couple weeks here on the Beat Down is going to be The Midnight Echo from Toronto, Ontario. They’re amazing song “Carbon Copy” is back for possibly their final week here on the show. The song is off their latest EP Dichotomy which is available on all streaming services. Our new competition joining us this week is also from the Toronto area. Canadian rock band Fake Magic has recently released their symphonic album N.A. They’re new single “Always Nice” is what we will be featuring this week for you to vote for. So it’s up to you at home if you want to see Fake Magic move on to the next round. Before you think it, no it’s not like the TV show! I have loved music ever since I was a kid back in Abbotsford, BC where I was born. Moved up north when I was about six and was practically raised up here. Hands down one of my favorite Canadian band has to be Simple Plan, with Dallas Smith coming in second. One of my Favorite Things I enjoy doing is just sitting around listening to music or taking pictures. I’d say I’m a pretty good photographer but you can be the judge of that.
