What’s going on my music loving family!? Happy music Monday and welcome back for another round of the Weekly Beat Down. We face off two amazing songs against one another for your votes at home. The song counting with the most votes by the end of this week is going to be our winner. We’ve also got these excellent recommendations that I have pulled from our website Canadian Beats, on this week’s “Zach’s picks of the week”. There’s also something else special on this week’s episode, but you’ve got a Tune in down below to find out.
The first artist that will be facing off this week for your votes. Making their triumphant return for their third week on little competition. Toronto, Ontario alternative rockers The Midnight Echo are back with “Carbon Copy”. This song is off of their latest EP Dichotomy which is out on your fave stream sites. You can check out the full video for their song, “Carbon Copy” just down below, and don’t forget to get your votes in at the bottom of the page.
The second and newest artist that will be joining us this week also hails from Toronto, Ontario. A friend of mine that goes by the name of Dead Defined, has just released his latest single titled “Today”. An amazing song that brings light to the struggles of mental health issues. The harsh truth of trusting in somebody who is only using you to benefit themselves. Of course, you can check out the full video from “Today” just down below, and don’t forget to vote for your favourite at the bottom of the page.
Those people are going to be the amazing songs facing off against one another for your votes at home. So it’s up to you now to get your votes in down below before Saturday night.
Thank you all for tuning in and I will be back next Monday, for the same time and in the same place. Spread all the love and positivity you can and stay strong! PEACE, LOVE AND GOOD MUSIC TO YOU ALL!!
Hey there! I’m Zach I love long walks on the beach and movies that make you cry. Wait a minute this isn’t my E-Harmony account. Let’s try this again, hi I’m Zach from Dawson Creek, BC. Before you think it, no it’s not like the TV show! I have loved music ever since I was a kid back in Abbotsford, BC where I was born. Moved up north when I was about six and was practically raised up here. Hands down one of my favorite Canadian band has to be Simple Plan, with Dallas Smith coming in second. One of my Favorite Things I enjoy doing is just sitting around listening to music or taking pictures. I’d say I’m a pretty good photographer but you can be the judge of that. Just even ask a couple of my friends City light vigil, Scarlet serenity or Violet night. If you’re still reading this congratulations you’ve reached the end.
