Weekly Beat Down – August 24, 2020 to August 29, 2020

Happy Music Monday everybody and I hope you’re all doing fabulous! Of course, we’ve got some brand new music facing off here on the Weekly Beat Down this week. Two amazing songs and Four excellent recommendations in the episode below. So let’s get right into it, this is the #WeeklyBeatDown on Canadian Beats.

The first artist that will be returning from last week’s competition, alternative rockers Violet Night from Little Prairie, British Columbia. Are they are back with the amazing track “hate me” coming out of their upcoming album Anti-Heroes. The album is scheduled for release on September 25th and from what I’ve heard it’s going to be a good one. If you want to see Violet night proceed on to the next round, be sure to drop your vote down at the bottom of the page. However, you can now check out the full video for “hate me” right now.

Our second competitor that will be debuting this week on the Weekly Beat Down. Hailing from the city of Toronto, The Nursery have released a brand new amazing track called “Radium Girls”. Inspired by the documentary “Radium City”, this song talks about the unfortunate tragedy of women being poisoned in the workplace. Showing that evil is lurking in the shadows even in today’s society. If you want to vote for The Nursery, you can head on down to the bottom of the page. However, you can check out the video right here for “Radium Girls”.

Those will be the two amazing songs facing off this week on the #WeeklyBeatDown. It’s now up to you at home to vote for your favourite, the song with the most votes is the one moving on to the next round. Happy voting everybody!

I hope you all have a great week and I will be back next Monday with more music to talk about. Peace, Love, and only the best music to you all!!
