Ontario-based indie-folk artist Missy Bauman has released her second album, Sweet. The album was recorded at Grant Avenue Studios in Hamilton, ON, and SkyTrack Studios in Cambridge, ON. Sweet was self-produced, including the arrangement and audio mixing.
“Creating this album was intense – it took two years to complete. I realized as it came together that “Sweet” is essentially a record about falling out of love. The turbulence, the anxiety, the perturbation, the angst. And how art carried me through to the other side. I knew that how I dealt with the pain would have power – it could change my heart. It would have been so easy to be bitter. But I wanted to be sweet.”
