Elliott BROOD announces new album, Keeper

Six Shooter Records is an indie record label, home to many down-home and wholesome sounds created inside its walls. Focusing on music as an art, and not the mainstream cookie-cutter production designs of other labels.

Elliott BROOD’s first few albums were laid down at Six Shooter, and their return just seemed a natural turn of events, creating more of their folk bluegrass tones, recording the big billowing three-man band, bard’s tale. Their latest album Keeper, with a true test of strength, one’s own battlefields, and knowing we will always find our way home. This new album brings some new frontiers of, flashing back to 50’s slapback, injections of synth, and exploring their sound beyond the acoustic realms.  Seeing the pushing and pulling of relationships, from their birth to the ripe old ages of evolution. Giving the gift of gratitude for all of life’s ups and downs.

The band has unveiled the first single from the album entitled “Stay Out”, a song about when and why we find our way home. Mixed by Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers) and engineered by Daryl Neudorf (Neko Case), “Stay Out” is all blue sky and sunshine even while it revels in the night. The song weighs the fleeting elation of recklessness against the deeper ties that bind.

Keeper will be released on September 18, 2020, and to celebrate Elliott BROOD is going to include a postcard from Collective Arts Brewing, designed by Mark Sasso, with any purchases from July 23rd to July 30th. Be sure to also check out there Instagram live on July 30th at 6 pm ET.
