Toronto-based indie outfit Jaunt has released a live-session of their track “Delighted To Be Spoken To.”
The video captures the undeniable talent of the band as they don’t miss a single beat or note once in their live rendition.
The band says that they managed to achieve professional production through what was very much a DIY project.
“We’re happy to have this video out for the masses, seeing as we had to cancel our planned tour due to the pandemic, we figured this is the next best thing,” says guitarist Pat O’Brien. “The production of this video was very much a DIY effort and was shot by the very talented team of Pia Perez and Sylvain Chaussée of Tranquilo. I learned how to paint a large floor in under two hours, so I’m thankful you can now enjoy the fruits of my labour.”
“Delighted To Be Spoken To” comes from their recent LP, All In One, which was produced by BADBADNOTGOOD’s Alex Sowinsky.
Hey! I’m Allen Steinberg and I’m currently based in Belleville, Ontario. I’m a Journalism & Communications student doing my four-week placement with Canadian Beats because I love writing and I love music. Outlets like Canadian Beats are important because they care about showing off smaller / newer artists who may otherwise not get much exposure. I think it really keeps them going. I also sing and play guitar in my band Arm’s Length. Happy to be here!
