Busty and the Bass release new single, “Kids”

Montreal-based octet Busty and the Bass have dropped a new laid-back track, “Kids.”

Since signing to renowned Canadian label Arts & Crafts (Broken Social Scene, Andy Shauf, Liza Anne), the collective has released three singles including “Baggy Eyed Dopeman” which features funk legend, George Clinton. Produced by Neal Pogue who has worked with the likes of Tyler The Creator, “Kids” combines the R&B sound Tyler The Creator has become known for along with their own blend of nostalgic soul music.

The eight-piece band met during their first week as jazz students at McGill University back in 2011. Now, they’ve played to massive crowds at Osheaga, Bluesfest and the Montreal International Jazz Festival.
