Vancouver pop-outfit The Sunset Kids have dropped a new music video for their song, “Brave.”
Looking to spread the message of hope during these lonely times, the duo has put together a powerful soundtrack along with a touching video to accompany it. With sonically-huge production, they look to keep up their enormous sound on their upcoming EP, set to release later this year.
“We all have to be brave. Brave to be open to love and brave to be willing to live. Perhaps at these mad times more than ever. This song manifests that love is the only thing that can make us strong and fearless. It is our limitless subscription to protection from darkness, loneliness, and feeling incomplete. It is always with us and within us no matter if we have to be apart from our loved ones. Love connects us all,” says the pair of their new track.
Hey! I’m Allen Steinberg and I’m currently based in Belleville, Ontario. I’m a Journalism & Communications student doing my four-week placement with Canadian Beats because I love writing and I love music. Outlets like Canadian Beats are important because they care about showing off smaller / newer artists who may otherwise not get much exposure. I think it really keeps them going. I also sing and play guitar in my band Arm’s Length. Happy to be here!
