Satellite and the Harpoonist release video for “Ballet in a Phone Booth”

New blues-influenced supergroup Satellite and the Harpoonist have released a music video for their track “Ballet in a Phone Booth.”

The group, featuring Shawn Hall of The Harpoonist and the Axe Murderer, Geoff Hillhorst of The Deep Dark Woods, Theo Vincent of The Boom Booms and Bradford Reed of King Missile III.

The product of this collaboration of celebrated artists is a funky, trippy experience for anyone who just wants to snap their fingers and vibe.

The newly released track also happens to be the first-ever by the group, showing the world a sneak-peek of what’s to come in the future.

“I had this idea for a video using vintage animated landscapes as a theme. When I started editing all these images together, what kept popping up was ‘Man vs. Nature’. We are really losing the beauty that our world has and even had to offer. You’d think that after all these decades, we wouldn’t need to be reminded by now, but it’s obviously never-ending. Also as a bonus, I’m trying to hypnotize the audience to get on the dance floor and shake their booty,” Director Peter Ricq said of the video.
