Last week, R&B artist Alexa Ferr made her return with new single, “What I Want”, written by herself and produced by American based producer, A Dot The God whose production credits include Wale, Travis Scott, Mac Miller and Jidenna to name a few.
Of the single, Alexa says:
When Adot The God emailed me the beat for what you hear on “What I Want”, I was playing around with melodies and on this particular day, I was feeling like I needed to go after what I want. That, if I’m not happy at the place I’m at now, I need to do what’s best for me to make myself happy and create the life I want for myself. “What I Want “is about empowering others to go after what they believe they deserve and what they want in life. This can be in the form of a better relationship, way of living, career, etc.
Alexa is currently working with a variety of producers on new music which will be released throughout the year.
