Donovan Woods promotes self-love in new video for “Grew Apart”

Toronto-based folk artist Donovan Woods is back with a video for his latest single “Grew Apart.”

In this track, Woods is forthright about his maturity at the end of a relationship, preaching that you can move on from someone without it being an ugly experience. The video sets the mood with a monologue that expresses the importance of loving yourself after a relationship falters.

Produced by James Bunton and Todd Clark (Dua Lipa, Gavin DeGraw, Phillip Phillips), “Grew Apart” follows up from “While All The While,” his previous single that also deals with emotional themes of heartbreak, of which themes Woods has made his name in.
