On April 3, 2020, Winnipeg’s Slow Leaves (aka Grant Davidson) will be releasing his sixth studio album, Shelf Life via Birthday Cake.
Now, the JUNO Master Class alumnus is announcing the album release live stream performance to take place Monday, April 6 at 8 pm ET as part of the NAC’s #CanadaPerforms. Fans can find the live stream on Slow Leaves’ Facebook Page and Instagram.
Slow Leaves has also shared the new video for “Sentimental Teardrops” from the upcoming album.
“This song is a defence of my fears, conceits, and contradictions,” says Davidson. “Some of us were born with broken hearts and find comfort in slipping into sentimentality as though into an old pair of slippers. The video intends to be as transparent as the song.”
