Emily Rockarts releases new single, “Stay”

Indie singer-songwriter Emily Rockarts dropped a new single on Tuesday called “Stay”.

This latest track from the Montreal musician is off of her upcoming debut album, Little Flower, due out April 24.

“Stay” and it’s accompanying video delve into the moments after a breakup and the heartbreak that surrounds. Here is Rockarts speaking about the track:

“‘Stay’ is about the moments after a breakup. You wish that it could have worked out, maybe you still think it can, but it’s obvious that it won’t. It’s about being annoyed, perplexed, exasperated and gutted by a relationship that you knew wasn’t right from the beginning but you still hoped would work out in the end.”
