Tell us a bit about your music and writing style.

Pyramid Tropic borrows its sound from electronic music steeped with 80’s nostalgia along with elements of house, disco and new wave.

Do you have any upcoming shows? For someone who has yet to see you live, how would you explain your live performance?

We used to play as a trio: myself on vocals, keys & guitar with Matt on bass and a live drummer. I’m not sure what our next move will be or what that will look like but pairing down to a two-piece could work as well.

If you were asked to suggest only one of your songs for someone to hear, which would it be?

“My Destroyer”.

Canadian Beats is all about Canadian music, so who are your current favourite Canadian bands/ artists?

I must admit that I don’t know much of what is current these days but I do love some great Canadian artists that have stood the test of time including; Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, The Cowboy Junkies, and Neil Young.
