Hello and welcome everybody to the Weekly Beat Down. Where we’ve got some amazing music to go over today. The song counting with the most votes by the end of the week is going to be moving on to the next round. That’s going to be running from today Monday, going all the way until Saturday night. Now it’s time to check-in and see what kind of music we got in the episode below.
All right we’ve got two competing tracks facing off in the Weekly Beat Down ring this week. It’s your job to get the votes in daily so that your favourite is going to win.
The first artist is going to be our newly-crowned champions from last week’s victory. Vancouver hard-rockers Two Car Train has returned with their single for “The Door”. It’s coming off of their upcoming album and they’ve also been added to our Canadian Beats weekly playlist. Check out the full music video down below here for “The Door”.
Now for our second artist this week, this is a particularly special addition. The reason for that is this song is performed Live. That is right Patiohawk, from Toronto, have recently released the live performance for their song “What You Need”. The song is off of their debut albums “Toastmaker”, but you can expect some new music from them very soon. It was filmed at the very famous Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto. Have fun checking out the video right.
Those will be your choices for the Weekly Beat Down this week. You may now head to the bottom of the page where you can cast your votes for your favourite. Don’t forget to tell your friends about the Weekly Beat Down and make sure that they tell their friends.
However, that’s gonna be my time for you this week. I will be back next Monday of course with some more amazing music to tell you about. So is always, Peace, Love and Good Music to you all this week!! And Share, Share the Weekly Beat Down!!
Hey there! I’m Zach I love long walks on the beach and movies that make you cry. Wait a minute this isn’t my E-Harmony account. Let’s try this again, hi I’m Zach from Dawson Creek, BC. Before you think it, no it’s not like the TV show! I have loved music ever since I was a kid back in Abbotsford, BC where I was born. Moved up north when I was about six and was practically raised up here. Hands down one of my favorite Canadian band has to be Simple Plan, with Dallas Smith coming in second. One of my Favorite Things I enjoy doing is just sitting around listening to music or taking pictures. I’d say I’m a pretty good photographer but you can be the judge of that. Just even ask a couple of my friends City light vigil, Scarlet serenity or Violet night. If you’re still reading this congratulations you’ve reached the end.
