Care to introduce yourself to our readers?

Hey! We’re Stuck On Planet Earth from Toronto, Ontario!

Tell us a bit about your music and writing style.

We’d like to think our music draws a lot from alternative rock, R&B, and has some melodic pop sensibilities. We like to write about what’s real and honest to us. A lot of our newer music is about perseverance and overcoming personal struggle.

Do you have any upcoming shows? For someone who has yet to see you live, how would you explain your live performance?

We sold out our headline show at the Drake Underground tomorrow (Feb 8th) in 24 hours and we’re super stoked about that. Our show is definitely very energetic, and we want people to forget about their complicated lives for 45 minutes and dance and drink! Our drummer just built us some new lights, that definitely add some mood and vibes to our live show. They look super sweet!

If you were asked to suggest only one of your songs for someone to hear, which would it be?

Our new single “Higher Than The Drugs”!

Canadian Beats is all about Canadian music, so who are your current favourite Canadian bands/ artists?

So so many! Poesy, Aarys, Billy Wild, Fake Shark, Hotel Mira, Kasador, The OBGMs, Ferraro are just a few that come to mind.
