Ahead of the Spring tour dates, Gabrielle Papillon unveils a live performance of “Human” by The Killers. A frequent staple in Papillon’s live set, the song takes on new depth in its stripped-down form. Shining a light on the lyrics that convey what Killers frontperson Brandon Flowers once described as “a mild social statement,” the song fits squarely in Papillon’s Shout narrative of taking an unfettered stand in the face of a consistently dehumanizing world.
