Alive with afrowave vibe in Toronto, where it may be snowy and wet out, but the temperature was on the rise inside The Baby G.
With MC introductions from Lexxicon, Afrowave showcased support for upcoming Dancehall, Afrobeat, Reggaeton, Soca, and Reggae artists in Toronto.
Lost in the beat, rhythms, rhymes, dancing in time, and multi-cultural collaboration.
Getting us ready for Black History Month, some Latin flavour, freestyle, and sharing recipes for Rasta Pasta, where we left with the taste of a respectful community, all while your girl Flav spun tracks through the whole night.
Imah, Gabbyboy, Lexxicon, Chizzy Bashment, Don Richie, Terence Penny, Dolo The Gifted, Kaviedes, Cloclo Claudel, Zahra Moves Ensemble, and Mic Truth, all had us dancing, and craving even more Afrowave impressions.

Wandering EMm Photography origins came from a wanderer who saw the world in vibrant colour, unique compositions, and an understanding of the dance between light and dark. With her ’Beastie’ as she affectionately calls her camera, EMm can be found at most events, festival, and of course, is a regular at a concert. EMm has a strong passion for music. Using her camera, EMm can capture that moment in time where melody meets lyric, and exists as memory. Musicians have a tiny window to imprint you with their gift of song, given as thoughts, emotions, and experiences. EMm would like to seize that opportunity, and photograph that moment when it all connects. ‘How far will you wander… creatively?’
