Who: Finger Eleven & Headstones
When:
Where: Phoenix Concert Theatre, Toronto ON
The Phoenix Concert Theatre was alive with power, and amongst the haze, pure energy.
Both Finger Eleven and the Headstones brought the veteran alternative and punk rock vibes of the late 80’s early 90’s.
Finger Eleven – Transporting me back to my childhood, with some welcomed nostalgia, Finger Eleven took command of the Phoenix stage. Giving up the grunge, and embracing the alternative Rock, lyrics with depth, and melodies meeting rifts. Positive messages and getting lost in the stories, Finger Eleven will reach a thousand-mile wish, and a reminder to always remember the good times.
Headstones – Starting at 100mph the Headstones, took punk Rock to great heights, working the stage and barricades. Learning from the effects of addition and coming out stronger on the other side, the Headstones displayed their strength as a collative band. Using lighting cues to create theatrics, and intensity, the headstones will encourage us to change our ways for the better.
As I took a walk through late elementary, and all of high school, I was reminded of my alternative rock roots.
