Jenesia releases powerful new single “Too Long”

Alberta duo Jenesia continues to use their music to inspire change and their new single “Too Long” is no exception.

The powerful ballad was inspired by the couple’s personal experiences with depression and anxiety, along with experiences from close friends and family. The emotional new track combines their signature harmonies and member Alexander David’s masterful guitar skills to create something that will resonate with anyone who’s ever faced their own mental health struggles.

Jenesia’s ability to create both upbeat, positive anthems and effortlessly tackle issues on the other side of the spectrum allows them to stand out on an ever-growing musical landscape. Recognized by prestigious names, from the John Lennon Songwriting Contest to the Edmonton Music Awards, their passion continues to fuel their desire to create songs that will resonate with just about everyone in one way or another.

In addition to the release of “Too Long” Jenesia will be performing at the Festival Place Theatre in Sherwood, Alberta in what’s sure to be a memorable musical event; featuring special guests Baby Boy Blue, The Melisizwe Brothers, Melafrique, and Genesis Lamboson. The event has been planned with PlanIt Sound and one dollar from every ticket sold will go to the charitable organization Little Warriors, to aid in their work to help prevent childhood sexual assault. More information on the event can be found on their website.
