Toronto, ON’s Swagger Rite is back with his raw and unfiltered second single, “In Love With The K” featuring Memphis, Tennessee rapper Blockboy JB.
Riding a whirring, noisy, lumbering trap beat, Swagger Rite shows off his tempos on “In Love With The K” alternating clipped bursts of syllables with longer phrases as he addresses individuals disrespecting his team. As the track moves, Swagger Rite’s trance deepens, his voice mutating into a chopped-and-screwed bellow.

Care to introduce yourself to our readers?
Hi, my name is Swagger Rite and I’m the new future of the hip hop scene.
Tell us a bit about your music and writing style.
My music is mixed with a little bit of everything and anything you can think of from rap, hip hop, pop, and RnB. I’m pretty much an all around player. My music style varies cause I do a lot of off the top as they would call it free writing/freestyling. I’m pretty much a visual speaker. I go off of emotions and vibes of my everyday life. It’s easy for me to put words together. I can do a song on the spot or literally make anything with or without a beat.
Do you have any upcoming shows? For someone who has yet to see you live, how would you explain your live performance?
Pretty energetic. I carry a lot of energy and it’s more of a mosh pit turn up the vibe when I perform. I love to see when people are interacting and getting wild.
If you were asked to suggest only one of your songs for someone to hear, which would it be?
In love with the K featuring Block Boy JB
