Toronto’s Birds Of Bellwoods have released their latest single, “Easy”. The song follows their Victoria album, released in 2018, and comes ahead of their upcoming Rock The Rink tour where the band will be sharing arenas with skating greats Tessa Virtue, Scott Moir, Elvis Stojko, and more.
“Easy” is an obvious and immediate indie pop/rock banger with its up-tempo bop, ambient guitars, and use of vocal harmonies.
Lead vocalist Stephen Joffe reflects,
“Easy is a diary of how far we’ve come and a recognition of how far there is left to go: a point of reflection on a never-ending journey. It’s bigger, bolder, and brighter than anything we’ve released so far, and we are so happy to finally share it with our flock.”
I’m Gerrod, a Toronto based writer and musician. As soon as I started drumming, music became one of my greatest passions. Since then, I have also picked up the guitar, bass, and a hint of the piano. I am currently studying music and education at York University, and drum in a local hard rock band, One In The Chamber. This puts me right in the heart of Toronto’s growing music scene.
