Weekly Beat Down – August 26, 2019 to August 31, 2019

Welcome back music fans to another music Monday and the Weekly Beat Down. This is the recurring segment on our site that we like to feature two brand new songs that recently made their debut out on the Canadian music scene. I will then showcase two short clips from each artist down in the episode below, as well as giving you some more recommendations from our website. Check it out!

Now that you checked out both clips, you can see the full videos down below and vote for your favourite daily. The track at the end of this week that is counting with the most votes, starting today Monday running all the way until Saturday night at midnight will be crowned our winner.

First up this week is newcomers Indie rockers Violet Night from British Columbia. Their latest track “Freak Me Up” just came up online last week and you can check out the full video below.

Returning for his third week in a row from Sudbury Ontario, alternative Indie recording artist dadbOdd has his track “Chapter 8: Pessimist” once again, you can check it out down below.

Hey there! I’m Zach I love long walks on the beach and movies that make you cry. Wait a minute this isn’t my E-Harmony account. Let’s try this again, hi I’m Zach from Dawson Creek, BC. Before you think it, no it’s not like the TV show! I have loved music ever since I was a kid back in Abbotsford, BC where I was born.
