Halifax’s own award-winning electronic/hip-hop producer duo, Kin Crew is back with a brand new track, “Never Recover”.
Kin Crew shares,
“This song was written about how toxic we can be in relationships. We have bad experience that hurt & scar us, and before we can heal from them, we get into another relationship. This only leads to more pain, because you can’t be happy with someone else when you’re not happy with yourself.”

Hey Everyone! We are an award-winning Producer duo from Halifax, Nova Scotia with over 1 million online streams!
Tell us a bit about your music and writing style.
We focus mainly on electronic/pop & HipHop genres! Our music is based around Mainstream top 40. We love collaborating with talented artists. All of our music is normally created from songwriting sessions. We normally get together with some talented people and start creating the best music possible!
Do you have any upcoming shows? For someone who has yet to see you live, how would you explain your live performance?
We currently have two shows coming up.
– Kin Crew First Hometown Show, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. October 12th
– Youth Exbo, Halifax, Nova Scotia. November.
Our live performance is one you will remember. There are so many elements to our shows. Because we are: Artists, Producers, DJs, and Musicians. We are able to add a lot to our shows.
We have live instruments, DJing elements, live vocal performances, customized remixes, as well as real entertainment. Such as projection mapping, video skits, props & wardrobe changes.
Watching a Kin Crew performance is a full experience and will leave you wanting more.
If you were asked to suggest only one of your songs for someone to hear, which would it be?
That’s a hard one because we have multi genres it makes it difficult to suggest just 1 song. But I would say “Losing Myself”. Not only is it our biggest track, but it showcases the potential in the pop world, electronic world, and mainstream dance music.
Canadian Beats is all about Canadian music, so who are your current favourite Canadian bands/ artists?
In the HipHop world Tory Lanez, Drake, SonReal, Pilla B.
In the R&B world Manila Grey, Andres, Safe.
In the EDM world DVBBS, Loud Luxary.
