Welcome one and all to our very own Weekly Beat Down! It was a very special episode in the video below this week. With the induction of Toronto hard-rockers Tense Machine‘s killer track “I Won’t Throw It Away” to our Weekly Beatdown Hall of Fame. Check that out in the video below.
Now it’s time for our regularly scheduled Beat Down! In this segment, we like to feature new music that has recently made an impression out on the Canadian music scene. We will then take two tracks and pin them against each other for you the fans to decide for your favorite. You can vote daily for your favorite starting today, Monday running all the way until Saturday night at midnight. The song counting with the most votes by the end of the week will be crowned our winner and moving on to the next round.
The first artist going to be added to our show, this singer-songwriter released her debut album “Secrets” on April 5th of this year. AARYS from Port Colborne Ontario has the new video for her song “Bad Thing” right here on the Beatdown.
The second song getting added to our segment is from Canadian country singer Ryan Langdon. Ryan brings his new video for “Lit In The Sticks” to the Beat Down this week.
Now you can vote for your favorites at the bottom of the page. You can also share with your friends using the hashtag #WeeklyBeatDown to insure your favorite win’s this week’s competition.
Thank you all so much and I hope to see you all again next Monday with some brand new music. Peace, Love and Good music to you this week!
Hey there! I’m Zach I love long walks on the beach and movies that make you cry. Wait a minute this isn’t my E-Harmony account. Let’s try this again, hi I’m Zach from Dawson Creek, BC. Before you think it, no it’s not like the TV show! I have loved music ever since I was a kid back in Abbotsford, BC where I was born. Moved up north when I was about six and was practically raised up here. Hands down one of my favorite Canadian band has to be Simple Plan, with Dallas Smith coming in second. One of my Favorite Things I enjoy doing is just sitting around listening to music or taking pictures. I’d say I’m a pretty good photographer but you can be the judge of that. Just even ask a couple of my friends City light vigil, Scarlet serenity or Violet night. If you’re still reading this congratulations you’ve reached the end.
