It’s Monday! You know what that means! Some of us probably have to go back to work after a nice weekend. No need to fret over that, because we got a brand new edition of the #WeeklyBeatDown right here. This is the recurring segment we like to feature new music that is made quite the impression out on the Canadian music scene. I will showcase two short clips in the video below and then you can take a look at the full videos and vote for your favorite at the bottom of the page.
Now that you’ve seen the two clips, you can now check out the full videos from our two competing artists for this week.
The first band coming to us from Vancouver, British Columbia are pop rockers, The Faceplants. They just released their brand new single “Into the Wild” online last Friday. This is the first new single since there EP Animalistic came out last summer. You can check out the full video below.
Now returning for their 5th week in a row on our show. Toronto hard-rockers Tense Machine have the song “I Won’t Throw It Away” holding strong as our champion. Including this track, Tense Machine has also released two other songs online that I recommend checking out. See the full video for “I Won’t Throw It Away”below.
You now have the ability to go down to the bottom of the page and vote for your favorite daily.
Voting runs from today Monday all the way until Saturday night at midnight. Make sure to share with your friends using the hashtag #WeeklyBeatDown to make sure that you are favorite is going to move on to the next round. You going to do so right now at the bottom of the page.
Thank you all so much for tuning in, I hope this week’s episode was entertaining enough for you. I will see you guys back here next Monday with some new music all the time.
Peace, Love and Good music to you this week.
Hey there! I’m Zach I love long walks on the beach and movies that make you cry. Wait a minute this isn’t my E-Harmony account. Let’s try this again, hi I’m Zach from Dawson Creek, BC. Before you think it, no it’s not like the TV show! I have loved music ever since I was a kid back in Abbotsford, BC where I was born. Moved up north when I was about six and was practically raised up here. Hands down one of my favorite Canadian band has to be Simple Plan, with Dallas Smith coming in second. One of my Favorite Things I enjoy doing is just sitting around listening to music or taking pictures. I’d say I’m a pretty good photographer but you can be the judge of that. Just even ask a couple of my friends City light vigil, Scarlet serenity or Violet night. If you’re still reading this congratulations you’ve reached the end.
