City and Colour blasts off 2019 tour and album release with “Astronaut”

Coming off the heels of Alexisonfire’s triumphant return to the Canadian music conscience, Dallas Green is taking the time to release the first new City and Colour material in four years.

In addition to releasing the new single “Astronaut” to radio and to streaming services on June 3, City and Colour also released details of their upcoming North American tour.  Starting with summer festival dates, including Montreal’s Osheaga Festival, St. John’s George Street Music Festival and Eloria, ON’s Riverfest, U.S. tour dates will begin in Tacoma, WA on September 20 and conclude October 25 in New York City; while Canadian tour dates begin in Victoria on November 8 and conclude in Halifax on November 29.

City and Colour have also partnered with charitable donation initiative, PLUS1, for all North American tour dates. For every ticket sold in the U.S. $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to Crisis Text Line, while $1 form every ticket sold in Canada will be donated to MusiCounts and Indspire, who invest in education for Indigenous people.
