Presented by WILD 953 and Alberta Music, Project WILD aims to assist the development of new talent by awarding $100,953 to the winner, $75,000 to the second place winner and $50,000 to the third place winner. In addition, the Top 12 artists will receive a $5,000 Development Award and an invitation to Project WILD’s boot camp; a week long workshop to further skills in performance, songwriting, marketing, media strategy, music business, music accounting, tour strategy and social media. After a series of showcase events and public voting, the Top 3 artists of the season will be chosen.
On June 15, from 4:15 P.MM to 5:00 P.M, folks are invited to a special performance by last year’s Project WILD winners The Prairie States at The King Eddy in Calgary to welcome and meet the Top 12 artists in this year’s program.
