Who: Tokyo Police Club
When: April 13, 2019
Where: Marquee Ballroom, Halifax NS
Halifax was treated to a nostalgic sing-along when Ontario band Tokyo Police Club dropped into the Marquee Ballroom last month.
Having released their most recent record last year, the band is still very much alive and well. That being said they did not shy away from playing the hits. Like many others at the show, I was there to hear the TPC that I know from the mid to late ’00s. And they did not disappoint in this regard.
With an energetic and upbeat indie sound, the energy in the Marquee was electric. I don’t think it will be very long before we see Tokyo Police Club make their return to Halifax.
