Last week, Montreal’s International Jazz Festival announced some exciting acts on the lineup of their 2019 edition!
Place des Arts’ Salle Wilfried Pelletier will be home to the Événements Spéciaux TD, hosting performances by Norah Jones (June 27th), Alt-J (July 2nd and 3rd), George Benson (July 1st), Peter Frampton‘s Farewell Tour (July 5th) and many more!
Over at MTelus, Les Rythmes series will welcome, among others, Toronto’s indie rockers The Strumbellas (June 27th), France’s Lou Doillon (July 3rd), Quebec soul singer Bobby Bazini (June 29th) and Swedish duo First Aid Kit (July 6th).
The Grands Concerts Tinto Rio at Théâtre Maisonneuve will showcase a mix of jazz, indie pop and world music with Bahamas (July 5th), Leslie Odom Jr. (July 6th) and Dianne Reeves (July 1st).
Club Soda’s Les Couleurs SAQ series is more focused on the up-and-coming, with performances from Yungblud (July 6th), Jesse McCormack (June 28th), and Polaris-Prize winner Jeremy Dutcher (July 3rd).
