Toronto’s own Taylor Knox returns with his sophomore LP Here Tonight set for release on June 7 via Cadence Recordings. A central figure within Toronto’s expansive music scene-a friend and collaborator with almost everyone working today, Knox brought on friends and musicians for Here Tonight including Peter Dreimanis from July Talk to co-write and produce the single, “Everybody Knows” which also features Dreimanis and Leah Fay on vocals.
Taylor shares on working with Peter Dreimanis and Leah Fay from July Talk:
“Over the past few years I’ve become friends with Pete and Leah from July Talk, and when I first had the idea for this song, it kind of reminded me of their vibe so I thought it would be a fun opportunity to collaborate.”
“Our processes in the studio are similar – we all bring high energy and a willingness to try new things and experiment. One thing I love about Pete and Leah’s songs is that they always create these amazing cinematic moods with their band July Talk.”
