JD Fortune, a local rockstar that gained international notoriety by winning the Rockstar INXS title of frontman, recording an album and completing multiple international tours before parting ways.
JD has had his share of ups and downs but had never forgotten his local roots. And because of that, is continuing to give back to the community and its members any way he can.
Tomorrow night (April 27th), local talent and volunteers will be rallying together to help out a local community Pillar, Bill Monro. Bill is currently recovering from surgery removing numerous tumours. The event will be raising money to help towards the cancer treatments Bill will be receiving.
“For the past 20+ years Bill Munro has raised over $1 million for various charities as a volunteer auctioneer, conducting auctions for churches, community groups, Ducks Unlimited and many more,” JD has posted.
