Welcome and thank you all for coming back for another edition of the Weekly Beat Down. This is the segment where we like to take two tracks that have recently made headway in the industry and you, the fans, get to decide on who comes out victorious.

After a very close count in votes, it was decided, our newly-crowned champs The Strumbellas from Toronto return with their song “I’ll Wait” off their new album Rattlesnake.
Our new competition taking The Strumbellas on this week is no stranger to the Canadian country music scene. Leanne Pearson from Winnipeg brings her song “Hot Pursuit” off of her album Pull It Off to the Beat Down.
