Good day to you, I hope you’re all having yourselves a great start to your week. And you’re back once again for a new installment of the #WeeklyBeatDown with some new music. This is where we take two tracks every week put them up here on the website for you, the fans to decide for your favourite.
Like the handsome man in the video said, voting is open today Monday all the way until Saturday night at midnight. The track with the most votes at the end of the week is going to be moving on to next round as our champion. If they survive 6 weeks in our ring then they will be inducted into our Hall of Fame alongside many other talented artists.
Now it’s time to get into the music, newly-crowned champions from last week. Kelowna, BC very own rockstars Lucky Monkey have their title track “Nothing to Lose” of there latest EP holding strong for their second week In the ring.
They will be competing against our new arrivals to the ring, The Strumbellas from Toronto, ON bring their song “I’ll Wait” off their fourth record titled Rattlesnakes. Which is available everywhere music can be found.
Now go down to the bottom of the screen here and vote for your favorite in the poll. Like I said before, the one with the most votes by Saturday night at midnight is crowned our champion.

Hey there! I’m Zach I love long walks on the beach and movies that make you cry. Wait a minute this isn’t my E-Harmony account. Let’s try this again, hi I’m Zach from Dawson Creek, BC. Before you think it, no it’s not like the TV show! I have loved music ever since I was a kid back in Abbotsford, BC where I was born. Moved up north when I was about six and was practically raised up here. Hands down one of my favorite Canadian band has to be Simple Plan, with Dallas Smith coming in second. One of my Favorite Things I enjoy doing is just sitting around listening to music or taking pictures. I’d say I’m a pretty good photographer but you can be the judge of that.
