Go North Music Festival is returning to St. Joseph Island, Ontario for the annual festival on Saturday, July 13th, 2019. The official line-up features blues & country singer Crystal Shawanda, alt-rock band Birds of Bellwoods, rock band Sun K, folk-rock musician Skye Wallace, singer-songwriter Sarah Smith, indie rock band Another Crush, indie pop-rock singer Jesse Merineau, and Celtic punk rock group Dustin Jones and The Rising Tide. The full day music festival features new music, local artisans, local craft beer and amazing food.
New this year, is the option for Friday night camping as well as the Saturday. This will let people have the chance to explore St. Joseph Island itself. Festival organizer Jody Wildman says, “We welcome people [to] bring their own musical instruments and getting together around the campfire to entertain each other on the Friday night and after the headliner finishes on Saturday night.”
Early bird tickets are available now until April 5th for $30. After this, tickets will be $40 in advance or $50 at the gate. Kids 12 and under are free, and youth 13 to 18 is $15. Tickets are also available at local vendors including The Township of St. Joseph Municipal Office, Moose Sweats (Richards Landing), 17 East Trading Post (Desbarats), Rad Zone (SSM), and The Vibe Eatery (SSM).
