Haviah Mighty is back with another new single called Waves, featuring fellow Toronto artist Sean Leon. The new track is accompanied by its music video, as well as the announcement of Mighty’s sophomore album, 13th Floor, due out May 10th. Watch the music video for Waves:
“It’s funny how this track came together. Initially, I produced this in 2016. Then, in 2018, I showed it to a friend/producer, Young Dreadz, who asked for the stems and really fluffed it up!” explains Mighty. “Finally, I reached out to Sean Leon and felt his voice, sound and style were perfect for this record.”
Mighty’s previous single, In Women Colour, was released on International Women’s Day with its video. Watch the video here:
