On the first day of Spring, Montreal festival Osheaga had a few surprises in store for its fans!
The first announcement was more of a logistical one, about Osheaga’s homecoming to its native grounds of Parc Jean Drapeau, after two years of taking place on Île Saint-Hélène during renovations.
Two years ago, we hit the road and embarked on a journey to a explore a new island, new stages, and a new experience. Now, we’ve packed our bags and are headed back home to our newly renovated ORIGINAL festival site on Parc Jean-Drapeau with everything you remember, know and love…only BETTER! 💕🌳🎡⏰ Get ready. The real fun starts TOMORROW!

On Thursday, one of the festival’s sponsors Bell Alt Télé also announced the first act on the lineup! After a performance at the Mile Ex End music festival in 2017, Dallas Green’s acoustic project City and Colour will be back in Montreal this summer!

Last but not least, Osheaga has launched a little interactive game on its website to give its fans a little sneak peek at the full lineup! The experience features 6 beautiful postcards designed by some amazing illustrators! The game? Each day, email the postcards to some of your friends, and find out 6 new artists from the lineup!
Osheaga is set to release the full line up this Tuesday, so come back here then for our take on it! In the meantime, more artists will be uncovered daily through the game on Osheaga’s website, so stay tuned!
Osheaga 2019 will take place in Montreal August 2nd – 4th. Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday at noon. In the meantime, Diamond passes are already available on the festival’s website.
Hi there! My name is Marie, I am French born and raised, now living in Montreal. I work in Marketing by day, and I’m an avid concert-goer by night. I have always had a passion for photography, and realized that this mixes quite well with my love for live music (the absolute best way to experience music, if you ask me).
