Hope everyone had a happy St. Patrick’s Day, and welcome back to a new instalment of the Weekly Beat Down at Canadian Beats.
After 6 weeks of repeatedly destroying the competition, Kitchener Ontario’s Safe as Houses have been added to the Weekly Beatdown Hall of Fame. Thank you guys so much for supporting their song “Lucky Lucky”. And I’d like to personally congratulate the band and I hope this is just another step forward into an amazing career you guys have ahead of you all. Check out their message in the video above.
Now it’s time to get into two brand new tracks this week.
First off is fellow British Columbian country superstar Chad Brownlee with his brand new track “Forever’s Gotta Start Somewhere” off of his upcoming album.
Second in the ring for the new Beatdown lineup is Toronto-based rock band Still Eighteen who bring their new song and video for “You Hit Me Like Drugs” with some of the coolest bananas you’ve seen on the internet.
Thank you guys so much for checking out both videos please cast your vote below and share with your friends. Monday all the way until Saturday at midnight.
I will see you all next week take care of each other.
Hey there! I’m Zach I love long walks on the beach and movies that make you cry. Wait a minute this isn’t my E-Harmony account. Let’s try this again, hi I’m Zach from Dawson Creek, BC. Before you think it, no it’s not like the TV show! I have loved music ever since I was a kid back in Abbotsford, BC where I was born. Moved up north when I was about six and was practically raised up here. Hands down one of my favorite Canadian band has to be Simple Plan, with Dallas Smith coming in second. One of my Favorite Things I enjoy doing is just sitting around listening to music or taking pictures. I’d say I’m a pretty good photographer but you can be the judge of that. Just even ask a couple of my friends City light vigil, Scarlet serenity or Violet night. If you’re still reading this congratulations you’ve reached the end.
