Happy Monday to you folks and welcome to the Weekly Beatdown.
This is the segment where we like to take two tracks per week, put them against each other and you get to decide their fate. The song with the most votes at the end of the week is going to be moving on to the next round.
Our first contestant of this week comes to us from Toronto, Ontario. The band Long Range Hustle brings their song “Carry Us” off of their new album, Town which was released back in February.
And our reigning champs for the last 5 weeks on the Weekly Beat Down, Kitchener, Ontario’s Safe As Houses bring their song “Lucky Lucky” back to the ring once again.
Now that you guys have checked out both songs, be sure to vote down below in the polls every day from today all the way until Saturday at midnight. Thank you guys once again for tuning in and I hope to see you next week.
Enjoy. and we’ll see you back here next week!
Hey there! I’m Zach I love long walks on the beach and movies that make you cry. Wait a minute this isn’t my E-Harmony account. Let’s try this again, hi I’m Zach from Dawson Creek, BC. Before you think it, no it’s not like the TV show! I have loved music ever since I was a kid back in Abbotsford, BC where I was born. Moved up north when I was about six and was practically raised up here. Hands down one of my favorite Canadian band has to be Simple Plan, with Dallas Smith coming in second. One of my Favorite Things I enjoy doing is just sitting around listening to music or taking pictures. I’d say I’m a pretty good photographer but you can be the judge of that. Just even ask a couple of my friends City light vigil, Scarlet serenity or Violet night. If you’re still reading this congratulations you’ve reached the end.
